$124.95Evolved from the WindCutter fly line design, the VersiTip has the RIO non-hinging welded loop design and five interchangeable tips. The smooth, slim welded loops will not foul the guides. Unlike other sink tips, this line is designed witha thick belly to turn over dense sinking tips. Attach either the Clouser taper floating tip or one of the four sinking tips directly to the body.
Packaged with the floating tip, plus a 15 ft water-clear AquaLux Intermediate tip (1.5 ips 3.8 cm/s), Type 3 DC (3 - 4 ips 8.9 cm/s), Type 6 DC (6 - 7 ips 17 cm/s) and a Type 8 DC (8 - 9 ips 20.3 cm/s) sinking tips (sizes #8 - #10 only). It is the fly line favored by Alaskan guides for all species and by steelhead fly fishers. With the VersiTip the fly fisher is always prepared to meet any fishing conditions encounted. Made with a memory-free coldwater coating and core.

A must for the angler traveling for anadromous species. This is the VersiTip version of the density compensated 24 ft sink tip, with a loop at the 24 ft head for interchangeability. This line has a thick floating body to help turn over the heavy density head. The Dredger is used mostly for cold water and comes with 200, 300 and 400 grain heads, head wallet, and body.
Additional heads in 150, 500 and 600 grains may be purchased separately

The Tropical
VersiTip is a superb choice for the traveling fly fisher who is not
targeting any specific species and wants to carry a limited amount of
gear.
The Tropical VersiTip gives the angler versatility by providing an
assortment of easily changed configurations. Packaged with Clouser taper
15 ft floating, AquaLux® Intermediate (1.5 ips, 4 cm/s), DC Type 3 (34
ips 9 cm/s), DC Type 6 (6-7 ips 17 cm/s) and DC Type 8 (8-9 ips 20 cm/s)
tips. The body and tips feature the RIO proprietary welded loops that
will not catch in the guides, and a hard tropical coating that will not
wilt or snag in the guides in hot weather.
